Jago is learning new skills all the time as this message from his mum shows! "Did you know that not only have you bred a complete insomniac puppy dog but also a horticulturist too????? My beloved Jago (who sits staring at me all night long – well, he certainly doesn’t sleep much and is licking my face if I so much as turn over in my sleep!!) has also decided the garden needs attending to – I had grown some really nice lilies in pots and they were all just coming into bloom and looking really fab – until I went to Tesco’s on Saturday and when I returned my lovely lilies had been pruned to within an inch of their stems and petals were strewn around the garden! He also laid into the bay tree, which had many of its lower branches decapitated!!! He had clearly had a mad moment and glorious amount of fun at my expense! The little dear – obviously the heat had got to him! Why are Spinoni the most destructive of breeds??"
